Publication of the week
Welcome from the Rector

The mission of the New Economic School is to benefit 's private and public sectors through excellence in economics education and research. The School exists only for 17 years  but it is already the leading center of of economic research and education in post-communist countries.

NES is not only dedicated faculty and staff. NES's main asset is our talented and hard-working students. NES community also includes business and academic community both inside and outside of Russia, the outstanding public and private sector leaders who support the School both intellectually and financially.

Every day NES is working hard on improving quality of our teaching and research. We advocate values of academic independence, intellectual honesty and critical thinking. We believe that success can be reached through hard work and talent. We admit students on the basis of international exams, use intensive and up-to-date programs in economics and finance and do not accept cheating and plagiarism. We hire faculty in the international market and promote them based on their publications in international journals. We constantly review our curriculum to provide our students with relevant skills for successful careers in academic, business and government. NES has modern and transparent governance structure.

It is impossible to describe NES in just a few words. There are too many dimensions in which NES exceeds expectations - as we hope it is clear from this website.

Welcome to the New Economic School!
